2 medium, peeled, cored and diced

Ground Cinnamon

Low Fat Natural Yogurt

Wholemeal Flour

Porridge oats

Bicarbonate of Soda

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C, fan 160°C, gas mark 4. Line a 12-hole muffin tin with paper cases. Soften the pears in a pan with the ground cinnamon, lemon juice and a splash of water, for 10 minutes.
  2. Drain, then stir in the honey and low-fat spread. Let cool. Meanwhile, mix the eggs and yogurt in a jug.
  3. In a bowl, combine the wholemeal flour, oats, bicarbonate of soda and baking powder. Stir the pear mixture into the jug; pour into the dry ingredients and stir.
  4. Spoon into the cases, sprinkle over the oats. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
