Edamame Hummus


  • 2 tsp salt (for cooking edamame)
  • 3 cups shelled frozen edamame
  • ¾ cup Chobani Non-Fat Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp fresh jalapeno, no seeds
  • ¼ cup scallions, chopped
  • ¼ cup tahini
  • 5 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1½ tsp ground cumin
  • ½ cup cold water
  • ¼ tsp black pepper, freshly ground


  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add edamame and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Transfer to a bowl of ice water to cool. Remove from ice water and drain well.
  2. Combine edamame and remaining ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.
  3. Remove from food processor and refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve with fresh pita bread, pita chips or crackers.
