Muesli with apricots and almonds
Uncooked old fashioned rolled oats
2 cup(s), (rolled)
Dried apricot halves
¼ cup(s), diced
Toasted wheat germ
Instant nonfat dry milk
Fat free skim milk
7½ cup(s), (for serving)
Unsweetened fresh fruit
- Stir together oats, apricots, wheat germ, dry milk, almonds, and cinnamon in large bowl. Store in airtight container up to 2 weeks.
- To serve, stir together generous ¼ cup oat mixture and ¾ cup fat-free milk in small bowl. Let stand 2–30 minutes or cover and refrigerate overnight, depending on desired texture (the longer it stands, the softer it becomes). Top muesli with fresh fruit just before eating.
