Canned fava beans
2 cup(s), rinsed and drained
2 clove(s), peeled
1 Tbsp, for garnish
Fresh lemon juice
Extra virgin olive oil
1 Tbsp, finely chopped, for garnish
- In a food processor, place beans, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, cumin, salt, and pepper; process to combine. With the machine running, drizzle in oil; process until smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.
- Spoon into a bowl; garnish with lemon zest and parsley. Serve immediately.
- Serving size: about ¼ cup
