Hummus is the star of this quick-and-easy appetizer or snack. There is a wide variety of flavored hummus dips available in the grocery store, such as roasted red pepper, caramelized onion, and spinach artichoke, so use your favorite to change up the flavor of this simple recipe. Kirby cucumbers are small, and they have firm flesh and bumpy skin. They are crunchy and mild. You can also use English cucumbers, which have small seeds and a thin skin, which means, they don’t have to be seeded or peeled. Feel free to use your favorite type of nuts in place of the almonds.
