Transform everyone's favorite summer soup into a delicious cocktail. Spicy and chock-full of veggies, this is a very refreshing concoction. For special occasions, mix it with lemon-flavored vodka. Hot pepper sauce gives this tasty beverage a slight kick. We used 1/2 teaspoon of the hot pepper sauce, but you can use more or less, depending on the level of heat you prefer in your drinks. We garnished the drinks with fresh lemon, but you could also use lime. You can also serve it with celery as a stirrer. This makes a great beverage at a summertime dinner party or even for a brunch.

Ingredients

Mixed-vegetable juice

1½ fl oz, spicy

Cucumber(s)

1 medium, peeled, seeded and diced

Fresh radish(es)

2 small, quartered

Uncooked celery

½ rib(s), medium, sliced

Hot pepper sauce

½ tsp

Lemon(s)

medium, cut in wedges

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine vegetable juice, cucumber, radishes, celery and pepper sauce; puree. Serve over ice, garnished with lemon wedges.
