When you puree avocado, it becomes silky-smooth and ultra-creamy, making it a perfect medium for this thick chocolate mousse. The rich dessert is incredibly easy and quick to whip up—no heavy cream or beaten egg whites required. You can serve it right away, or refrigerate it for a few hours before digging in.



2 medium, peeled and pitted

Unsweetened cocoa powder


Monk fruit sweetener with erythritol

6 Tbsp, divided

Plain unsweetened almond milk

¼ cup(s)

Vanilla extract

2 tsp, divided

Plain fat free Greek yogurt


Fresh raspberries

  1. In a food processor, process the avocado until completely smooth. Add the cocoa and 5 tbsp monk fruit sweetener; process until just combined. Add the almond milk and 1 ½ tsp vanilla; process until completely smooth.
  2. In a small bowl, stir together the yogurt, remaining 1 tbsp monk fruit sweetener, and remaining ½ tsp vanilla. Divide the mousse evenly among 4 small bowls or glasses; top with the yogurt mixture and raspberries.
  3. Serving size: about ⅓ cup mousse, 4 tsp yogurt mixture, and ¼ cup berries
