"I love being able to wear a variety of clothes, and finally enjoying my passion for fashion."

Turn your lows into highs At 17st 7lb, I’d reached a low point. I was at my heaviest, and despite having just had my gorgeous daughter, Poppy, I was struggling to cope with how I felt about myself. My body had changed since becoming a mum and I’d put on weight, which is where WW came in. I’d already managed to lose a bit on my own, but was determined to get to goal.

Your WW Coach is your best friend When I reached goal, I thought it was okay to stop going to WW Workshops. But I ended up regaining my losses – twice. As a new mum with a young baby it was especially hard, I was constantly exhausted and felt I didn’t have time to prep and plan my meals. Along with my mum, my WW Coach Rhona was my cheerleader, providing a shoulder to cry on. She helped me find ways to fit WW into my day-to-day life, and they were easier than I thought. I couldn’t have done it without her.

Allow your mind to catch up with your body Because I’ve always been heavy, it’s difficult to convince myself that I can fit in to a size 8 or 10 – I still see myself as ‘the fat one’. So look at yourself in the mirror, and allow yourself to try on smaller sizes and tighter styles. It will eventually sink in.

My yes moment I no longer have to treat myself to just shoes or jewellery – before, they were the only things I could fit into. As someone who’s hidden herself behind baggy jumpers, I know how much what you wear affects how you feel about yourself.
