We know this life stage can come with a lot of questions and concerns—and not always enough answers. That’s why later this year, WeightWatchers will launch a new program to support women through perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause.

Our new program is built to meet your needs during this critical time—with our proven approach to sustainable lifestyle change, supportive community support, and access to prescription medication for weight management and menopause-related care (where clinically appropriate).

This is a life stage that has been historically underserved by the healthcare system, and we believe women deserve better. WeightWatchers is uniquely positioned to close this gap with our trusted, science-backed solution that combines clinical care, community support, and nutritional guidance.

For too long, women have been sold the false promise that calorie restriction and exercise can "solve" menopausal weight gain. We now know that’s simply not true. A complex mix of hormonal, emotional, and metabolic factors are at play, and they require a comprehensive, personalized approach. This means paying attention to nutrition, like fiber, adequate protein, heart-healthy fats, and anti-inflammatory foods; to strength building to support bone and muscle health, and doing it in community, together. Our new offering is designed to meet our members exactly where they are, with accurate information, tailored guidance, lifestyle interventions, clinical care, and a supportive community.

As with our GLP-1 medications, we have the ability to facilitate insurance coverage for members at scale through our proprietary AI-enabled software that checks for coverage.

Our new menopause offering will launch in our international markets that offer workshops.
