Peeling and Slicing a Pineapple

Step 1
Starting with a pineapple that’s been well rinsed and dried, slice off top and bottom ends and discard them.
Step 2
Starting at the top, slice off the skin in strips, lengthwise.
Step 3
Cut the peeled pineapple into quarters, lengthwise.
Step 4
Lay each quarter on its side and slice away the tough core.
Step 5
Cut the quartered sections into slices or cubes.
