If you were a fan of netball at school, you’ll probably love basketball. The American sport involves running, jumping and twisting, so it’s a good all-round workout that can help build endurance and improve balance. It can also be easily adapted, such as walking basketball (which is lower impact) and wheelchair basketball, which has its own national league.
