The lowdown on two-ingredient dough

Two-ingredient dough is basically like a cooking magic trick: Combine self-rising flour and plain fat-free Greek yogurt and prepare to be amazed. Don’t get us wrong, we love traditional dough—and you can always use that to cook with, but if you want a more Points-friendly option, keep reading.

Why we love two-ingredient dough

On top of two-ingredient dough's simplicity, the recipe's main selling point is the fact that it can be used to make lower Points versions of staples such as bagels, dinner rolls, and wraps. And because Greek yogurt is a ZeroPoint® food, the only Points you need to count come from the flour. Plus, the yogurt infuses your dough with extra protein for satisfaction. Win-win-win!

What you can make with it

Really, the sky's the limit. In the mood for a cinnamon bun or a soft pretzel? Pigs-in-a-blanket? Pizza? Go for it! Most recipes simply call for combining the two ingredients, shaping the dough on a floured surface, then popping it into an oven heated to 375-degrees Fahrenheit—or sometimes, a pan on your stovetop—for about 20 minutes. Then, go wild with the toppings!

P.S. If you don't have self-rising flour on hand, here's how to make your own: Start with 1 cup of all-purpose flour (whole-wheat or gluten-free alternatives should work just as well) and add 11/2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. (The Points values should stay about the same, but if you have any doubts, use the WW app to create new recipes, then adjust Points for single servings based on your batch size.)
