Cheesy chicken burger

Satisfy your cravings with a juicy chicken burger with tasty cheese and greens
chicken breast mince400 g
Bega Country Light Cheese, Tasty, 50% Less Fat, Grated40 g
ciabatta bread160 g, 2x8cm wide, halved, split, toasted
dijon mustard1 tbs
Mixed salad leaves40 g
Beetroot, canned in brine, drained80 g, sliced
tomato(es)2 medium, sliced
pickled gherkin, drained2 individual, thinly sliced
Bega Country Light Cheese, Tasty, 50% Less Fat, Grated35 g, thinly sliced
- Combine the mince and grated cheese in a bowl. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Shape the mince mixture into four patties. Lightly spray a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes each side or until browned and cooked through.
- Place the ciabatta pieces on a baking tray. Spread half with the mustard. Top with the mixed leaves, beetroot,tomato, mince patties, gherkin and sliced cheese. Place under a preheated grill for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese melts. Transfer to plates and top with remaining ciabatta pieces.
