Anna’s 90 second oat and cinnamon mug muffin makes the perfect warm one-portion breakfast or quick healthy snack.

Ingredients

quick oats

cup(s), (30g) microwave variety

banana

1 medium, ripe, mashed

ground cinnamon

¼ tsp, Pinch

egg(s)

1 medium

fresh dates

2 individual, pitted, chopped

fresh strawberries

¼ cup(s), sliced, to serve

Instructions

  1. Place oats, banana, cinnamon, egg and dates in a 1⅔-cup (410ml) microwave safe mug and stir to combine.
  2. Clean inside edge of mug with paper towel. Microwave, uncovered, on High (100%) for 90 seconds or until top is just firm. Serve with strawberries.

Notes
