Ingredients
Apple
2 medium, peeled, cored and chopped
Mineral water
½ fl oz, (120 ml)
Onion
¼ cup(s), chopped, (60 ml)
Raisins
¼ cup(s), (60 ml)
Apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp(s), (30 ml)
Sugar
2 tbsp(s), (30 ml)
Cumin seeds
1 tsp(s), (5 ml)
Uncooked lean and trimmed buffalo
1 pound(s), lean ground, (480 g)
Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp(s), (10 ml)
Spiced seasoning mix
2 tsp(s)
Cooking spray
1 spray(s)
Sourdough bread
8 slice(s), large
Instructions
1
In a medium saucepan, combine apples, water, onion, raisins, vinegar, sugar, and cumin. Place pan over medium heat and bring to a simmer. Cook 10 minutes, until apples break down and mixture is thick, stirring frequently.
2
Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine ground beef or bison, Worcestershire sauce and seasoning. Mix well and shape the mixture into 8 equal balls. Flatten balls with the palm of your hand, making mini hamburger patties.
3
Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray and set pan over medium-high heat. Add patties to hot pan and cook 3 to 4 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through.
4
Place patties on dinner rolls and spoon apple marmalade over top.
