Nick and Jean Luc’s “Why”? To be there for each other, forever

Learn how this couple inspires and supports each other on their wellness journey.

This Valentine’s Day, we’re celebrating the love and commitment of Nick and Jean-Luc, WW members who credit each other for their wellness success: both on and off the scale.

Nick and Jean Luc (aka the #WWGays – follow them on Connect!) have been married for seven years, in fact, Jean-Luc proposed to Nick on February 15, 2009, exactly 10 years ago! Late in 2017, they had a wake-up call when each was diagnosed with health issues. They feared their weight and unhealthy habits would jeopardize their ability to live a long and happy life together and committed to making a change – for each other. Wanting to be there for each other, forever, is their “why”.

In it Together

Nick and Jean-Luc recognize that it has been their partnership and support system that has been key to staying the course and seeing success on WW. Joining as a couple has made them accountable to each other, but more importantly, it has made it fun! Planning meals, cooking, going out to eat, and developing their own recipes and loyal fan following via their YouTube channel have become fun adventures in their journey to wellness. And seeing each other succeed keeps them motivated.  So far, each has lost more than 100 pounds.* Best of all – Members who do the WW Freestyle program together lost 15% more weight than those doing the program on their own.**

“My why is Nicolas. I want to be with him for as long as I possibly can. There is no other reason.”

- Jean-Luc.

“My why is Jean-Luc. My husband. He’s the reason.”

- Nick

For the Love of WW FreestyleTM

The couple loves the freedom and choice that comes with WW Freestyle. They feel empowered to make healthier choices and have a lot of fun putting healthy twists on their favourite foods. They’ve learned how to satisfy their cravings, with a WW spin.
