Instructions

  1. In a fine-mesh sieve, rinse 1 cup uncooked quinoa with cold water. Drain well and place in a medium saucepan. Add 1½ cups water and ¼ tsp kosher salt. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low, and cook until just tender, about 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for 10 minutes before fluffing with a fork.
