Ingredients

Light beer

24 fl oz, (720 ml)

Apple

1 medium, cored and sliced

Cinnamon sticks

2 average

Whole cloves

⅛ tsp(s), (0,5 ml); about 4 whole cloves

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan and set pan over medium heat. Simmer 10 minutes.
  2. Strain ale to remove apple, cinnamon and cloves. Pour spiced ale into mugs and serve warm.
