Serve this versatile dip with crudites or crackers, or as a spread on toast or in a sandwich wrap. It’s also great as a topping for baked chicken or fish. Made with frozen peas and cottage cheese, it’s a great way to boost protein.

Ingredients

Frozen green peas

12 oz

Fat free cottage cheese

½ cup(s)

Lemon zest

2 tsp(s)

Fresh lemon juice

1 tbsp(s)

Kosher salt

½ tsp(s)

Garlic powder

½ tsp(s)

Black pepper

¼ tsp(s)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, heat peas and ¼ cup water over medium-high until the water boils. Cover and cook over medium heat until the peas are just tender, 3 to 5 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. In a food processor, puree the peas, cottage cheese, lemon zest and juice, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper.
