This homemade fruit salsa is most certainly worth the 15 minutes it takes to make as it will add tropical sweetness to a variety of dishes. And the flavours are versatile. Serve it over tacos or pair it with grilled or roasted fish, shrimp, chicken, pork, or beef. You can omit the jalapeño if you do not want the salsa to be spicy, or replace it with a milder Cubanelle pepper. Alternatively, you can really amp up the heat to whatever your taste buds can handle by using a serrano or habañero pepper.
