Ingredients

Olive oil cooking spray

1 spray(s)

Low-fat Swiss cheese

4 oz, diced or grated

Fat free sour cream

2 tbsp(s)

Dijon mustard

1 tsp(s)

Whole wheat bread

8 slice(s), crusts removed

Cooked lean ham

4 oz, sliced

Reduced-calorie margarine

4 tsp(s)

Grated Parmesan cheese

4 tsp(s)

Instructions

  1. Preheat broiler. Coat a large non-stick skillet with cooking spray and set over medium heat.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine Swiss cheese, sour cream and mustard. Divide cheese mixture over 4 slices of bread and then top each piece with 1 ham slice; cover each with a second slice of bread. Spread 1/2 teaspoon of margarine on both sides of each sandwich.
  3. Place sandwiches in hot skillet and cook 2 minutes; flip sandwiches and cook until cheese melts, about 2 to 3 minutes more.
  4. Transfer sandwiches to a baking sheet and sprinkle Parmesan cheese over top. Place sandwiches under broiler and broil until cheese is golden, about 1 to 2 minutes.
