Buffalo Cauliflower Bites with Blue Cheese

Buffalo wings gone meatless in this delicious take on the happy hour favourite! We use mild Buffalo sauce here to keep things family friendly but feel free to make these as spicy as you like. Serve these with carrots and celery sticks for dipping. You can also cut up the cauliflower and make the dip the night before serving but this recipe is best enjoyed freshly baked.


All-purpose flour

Uncooked cauliflower

1 head(s), medium, cut into 28 (2-inch) florets

Hot sauce

cup(s), Buffalo style

Regular butter

2 tbsp(s), melted

Plain fat free Greek yogurt


Reduced fat crumbled blue cheese

3 tbsp(s)

Worcestershire sauce

1 splash(es)

Kosher salt

1 pinch

Black pepper

1 pinch


  1. Position racks in upper and lower thirds of oven and preheat to 450°F. Line 2 rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In large bowl, whisk flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and ½ cup water. Add cauliflower and toss to coat. Arrange cauliflower in single layer on prepared baking sheets.
  3. Bake, flipping cauliflower and rotating baking sheets from top to bottom halfway through, for 25 minutes.
  4. In small bowl, mix Buffalo sauce and butter. Using basting brush, brush hot sauce on cauliflower. Reserve remaining hot sauce for serving. Continue to bake until cauliflower is lightly brown, about 10 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, in another small bowl, stir all ingredients for dipping sauce.
  6. Drizzle cauliflower with reserved hot sauce. Serve with dipping sauce.
  7. Serving size: 7 cauliflower florets and 2 tbsp sauce
