Dense with dried fruit and nuts, these bite-sized snacks make the perfect morning pick-me-up.

Ingredients

Dried mixed berries

220 g, (see tip)

99% fat-free plain yoghurt

cup(s), (80g)

Vanilla bean extract, alcohol free

1 tsp

Wheat germ

¾ cup(s), (75g)

Dry rolled oats

½ cup(s), (45g)

Raw almonds

½ cup(s), (80g) finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Place the berry mix and blueberries in a small bowl and cover with boiling water. Stand for 5 minutes to soften. Strain, discarding the liquid.
  2. Using a food processor, process the berries, yoghurt and vanilla until smooth. Add the wheatgerm and oats, and process until combined. Transfer to a bowl and place in the fridge, covered, for 1 hour or until firm.
  3. Roll the berry mixture into 25 balls. Place the almond on a shallow plate and roll the balls in the almond to coat. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to five days. Each serve is two of these delicious bliss balls.
