Ingredients

onion

1 medium, coarsely chopped

garlic

1 clove(s), crushed

zucchini

1 large, finely chopped

lean beef round steak

400 g, (Buy 500g) fat trimmed, cut into 3cm cubes

dried oregano

½ tsp

canned diced tomatoes

400 g, (1x400g can)

tomato paste

1 tbs

dry lentils

¾ cup(s), (150g)

beef stock cube

2 individual, add 1L (4 cups) boiling water

fresh basil

¼ cup(s), finely sliced

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients except basil in a 5-6 litre slow cooker and stir well. Cook on Low for 6-7 hours or until beef is very tender.
  2. Stir in basil and serve.
