Turkey Taco Filling
Uncooked extra lean ground turkey breast
Apple cider vinegar
Unpacked brown sugar
- In small bowl, mix chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne. Set aside seasoning mix.
- In large nonstick skillet, cook turkey over medium-high heat, breaking up meat with back of spoon, until no longer pink, 4 to 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle turkey with reserved seasoning mix and add 1⁄2 cup water. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until most liquid has absorbed, 10 to 15 minutes. Stir in vinegar and sugar and continue to simmer until warmed through, 2 to 3 minutes.
