Granitas are an easy, refreshing summer treat. When you use naturally sweet, juicy fruit that’s in season, no additional sugar is needed.

Fresh mint leaves
3 tbsp(s), chopped, plus extra for garnish
- Puree honeydew and lime juice in a large blender or food processor; add mint and pulse just to combine. Pour into a pie plate or 9-inch square pan. Freeze for 30 minutes; stir frozen bits of fruit into center.
- Continue to stir and scrape frozen fruit from edges to center every 30 minutes until granita is completely frozen, about 4 hours. Serve garnished with mint.
