Thanks to the air fryer, you can enjoy the toasty flavour of roasted summer corn without having to heat up your oven or fire up your grill. Simply trim the ears to fit into your air-fryer basket, coat them with nonstick spray, and cook for 10 to 12 minutes. No worries if they won’t all fit in one layer—you can stack one or two ears on top and rotate them halfway through the cook time. The perfect finishing touch is a delicious coating of lime-flavored butter and sprinkling of fresh chives.

Cooking spray

4 spray(s)

Uncooked sweet yellow corn

4 ear(s), medium, on cob, fresh

1½ tbsp(s), melted

Lime zest

1 tsp(s)

Kosher salt

¼ tsp(s)

Black pepper

¼ tsp(s)

1 tbsp(s), chopped

  1. Trim corn to fit into your air-fryer basket. Coat corn evenly with nonstick spray. Preheat air fryer, if needed, to 400°F. Arrange corn in basket, stacking ears if necessary. Air-fry corn for 5 minutes. Turn corn over, and rotate top to bottom if ears are stacked. Air-fry until lightly browned on edges and toasty-fragrant, 5 to 7 more minutes
  2. In a small bowl, stir together butter and lime zest. Brush evenly over corn. Sprinkle corn evenly with salt and pepper, then sprinkle with chives.
  3. Serving size: 1 ear of corn with topping
