Quick BBQ chicken breasts
Make your own delicious BBQ sauce with a few basic pantry ingredients for great tasting American inspired chicken dish.
Tomato sauce (ketchup)
¼ cup(s), (60ml)
Apple cider vinegar
2 clove(s), crushed
Skinless chicken breast
900 g, (3x300g) halved horizontally
1 x 3 second spray(s)
- Line a grill tray with foil and lightly spray with oil. Preheat grill on medium.
- Meanwhile, combine sauce, vinegar, sugar and garlic in small bowl. Set glaze aside.
- Combine paprika, cumin and ¾ teaspoon salt in small bowl. Season with pepper. Rub mixture evenly over chicken.
- Place chicken on grill tray and grill, turning often, for 10 minutes or until cooked through. Brush chicken on both sides with glaze and grill for 1 minute or until chicken is golden (see tip). Serve
TIPS: Chicken can also be cooked on a preheated chargrill pan for 3 minutes each side over medium heat. Add chargrilled green shallots to serve. Swap brown sugar for honey.
