Pear and almond crumble
650 g, peeled, cored, thinly sliced
Reduced fat oil spread
2 x 3 second spray(s)
- Preheat oven to 200°C. Lightly spray a 20cm oval baking dish with oil.
- Place pears in a medium saucepan, cover with boiling water and heat over a medium heat. Simmer for 7 minutes, or until pears are just tender. Drain, then arrange slices over base of dish.
- Place flour in a medium bowl. Using fingertips, rub spread into flour until mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs. Stir in sugar, ground and flaked almonds until combined. Sprinkle crumble over pears.Lightly spray with oil.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until crumble is golden and bubbling. Cool slightly before serving.
