Crisp apple and spice crepes

A classic crepe becomes apple turnover with a twist in this divine dessert.


Ingredients
Apple(s)
400 g, (sliced, canned, drained)
Brown sugar
1 tbs
Ground cinnamon
½ tsp
Cardamom
¼ tsp, ground
Crepe
4 individual, (4 x 50g), thawed
Light cream
¼ cup(s), (80ml)
Walnuts
1 tbs, chopped, lightly toasted
Icing sugar
1 tsp
Instructions

Preheat oven to 180°C or 160°C fan-forced. Line a baking tray with baking paper.

Combine apple, brown sugar, cinnamon and cardamom in a bowl. Spoon apple mixture onto half of each crepe. Fold to enclose filling.

Place crepes on prepared tray. Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned and crisp. Drizzle with cream and sprinkle with walnuts and icing sugar to serve.
