Hey everyone! I'm Scott and I am happy to share some of my story with you. I joined Weight Watchers to help me learn the mindset and have the tools to get myself in better shape. A big focus is my upcoming wedding to another WW member some of you may already know, Mieke.
As a chef, I have the ability to cook great food, but lacked the understanding on what food and in what quantities I needed to have in order to get my body to where it should be. Weight Watchers has given me that and the results are better than I could have hoped for.
I really enjoy the WW Freestyle program. As a chef, I am able to use my culinary abilities to make the most of healthy and zero Points® foods for Mieke and myself. I also do my best to share my recipes with other WW members on my @chefscottww page on Instagram as I experiment. I have a love for cooking and it makes me feel great to share my passion with others.
Keeping active is a key part of my journey. At work I am on my feet and moving for most of the workday. When I'm done and home, it's hard to motivate myself to get going, but my best bud Jaxon gets me up and going! Now with a smaller me, I feel more comfortable and energetic to get out and do things I wouldn't have been able to before.
My biggest motivation is my love, Mieke. I want to be healthy and strong so I can spend my life with her and be able to have fun adventures. Fitting into a normal size suit for our upcoming wedding was a big milestone for me. I plan to be confident on my wedding day and look my best as we start our new lives together.
The journey isn't easy, and for me, it's not over yet. I still have weight to lose. I am motivated to keep up the momentum and I am grateful for all the support I have received from the Weight Watchers community as I work towards being the best version of me that I can.
For me WW is more than just a weight loss plan. It's given me confidence, energy, friends, and a new positive outlook for the future.
