Ingredients

No-sugar added peanut butter

1 cup(s)

Dried dates

1 cup(s), finely chopped by hand or in food processor

Sugar-free maple syrup

¼ cup(s)

Dry roasted salted almonds

1 cup(s)

Uncooked old-fashioned rolled oats

1½ cup(s)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper. In a large bowl, combine the peanut butter, dates, almonds and oats.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat the maple syrup on low until warm and runny. Drizzle over oat mixture. Stir until well combined.
  3. Transfer oat mixture to lined pan. Press down firmly. Cover with another sheet of parchment and press to form even layer. Place in freezer for 15 to 20 minutes, until firm.
  4. Remove from pan using parchment paper. Cut into 12 bars.
  5. Serving size: 1 bar
