The queen of of all things dippable, houmous is ridiculously simple to whip up, ready for an impromptu snack.


Ingredients
Chickpeas, cooked
1 can(s), large, drained, drained, liquid reserved
Lemon Juice, Fresh
1 tablespoon(s)
Olive Oil
1 tablespoon(s)
Olive Oil
½ teaspoon(s), to drizzle
Tahini paste (sesame paste)
1½ tablespoon(s)
Garlic
1 clove(s)
Ground Cumin
½ teaspoon(s), level
Paprika
1 pinch, smoked
Instructions

Put the chickpeas in a food processor, reserving a spoonful to garnish. Add the lemon juice, olive oil, tahini, garlic, cumin and 3 tbsp of the reserved chickpea water. Whizz until smooth. Season to taste.

Spoon into a bowl and top with the reserved chickpeas. Dust with the paprika and drizzle with the remaining oil.
