Ingredients
Grape Juice
425 ml, (3/4 pint) unsweetened red
Red Wine
700 ml
Muscovado Sugar
2 tablespoon(s), dark or light
Root Ginger
1 teaspoon(s), fresh (or 1/2 tsp ground ginger)
Cloves, Whole or Ground
4 individual
Cinnamon Stick
2 stick(s)
Orange
1 medium, halved
Instructions

Put wine, water, sugar, ginger, cloves, cinnamon sticks and orange into a very large saucepan. Heat gently until just below boiling point. Do not allow mixture to get too hot.

Pour into a punch bowl or jug and serve hot.
