Ingredients
Lean beef mince, 10% fat, raw
500 g
Carrots, raw
1 small, grated
Onion
1 small, finely chopped
Garlic
1 clove(s), crushed
Dried Mixed Herbs
2 teaspoon(s)
Ground Cumin
1 teaspoon(s), level
Calorie controlled cooking spray
5 spray(s)
White pasta, dry
250 g, spirals
Passata
500 g
Salt
1 pinch, and black pepper, freshly ground

Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 6/200°C/400°F. Mix together the minced beef, carrot, onion, garlic, dried herbs and cumin. Season well. Form into about 24 meatballs.

Spray a non-stick baking sheet or roasting pan with low fat cooking spray. Arrange the meatballs on top, then roast them for 20 minutes.

Ten minutes before the meatballs are done, put the pasta on to cook in a large saucepan of boiling, salted water. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or according to pack instructions. Drain the pasta and return to the saucepan with the tomato pasta sauce. Heat for a minute or two, then add the meatballs and stir them through gently.
