Serve these saucy meatballs over zucchini spirals, which can be found in the fresh produce section in most supermarkets. Or, go beyond the basics and use your WW spiralizer to make your own zucchini, pumpkin, carrot or beetroot spirals. Of course, regular spaghetti is fine to use instead.

Ingredients

Canned diced tomatoes

2 400g can, (2 x 400g can)

Tomato paste

cup(s), (90g)

Balsamic vinegar

2 tbs

Dried chilli flakes

½ tsp

Dried oregano

3 tsp

Turkey breast mince

1000 g, (kg)

Panko breadcrumbs

30 g

Dried basil

1 tbs

Fennel seeds

1 tsp, crushed

Instructions

  1. Combine tomatoes, tomato paste, vinegar, chilli flakes, 2 teaspoons oregano and ½ teaspoon salt in 5.5 litre (22-cup) slow cooker.
  2. Place turkey, breadcrumbs, basil, fennel seeds and remaining 1 teaspoon oregano in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper and mix to combine. Shape into 24 balls.
  3. Add meatballs to slow cooker and cover with lid. Cook on low for 7 hours. Season and serve.

Notes

TIP: To bulk up the veggie content in this tasty dish, stir through 120g baby spinach leaves at the end of cooking time until wilted. Grab your WW spiralizer at ww.com/shop
