Kimchi croque madame
Winter and cabbage is a classic combo so why not spice this old favourite up by adding kimchi to your next toastie. It’s got a little kick of spice and goes so well with a fried egg and crunchy toast.
97% fat-free deli sliced ham
112 g, (4 x 28g)
Light cheddar cheese
120 g, (4 slices x 30g), thinly sliced
1 x 3 second spray(s)
- Preheat oven grill and line a baking tray with foil.
- Place bread on prepared tray. Lightly toast bread under grill for 2 minutes or until golden. Removed from grill. Top with kimchi, ham and cheese. Cook under grill for 2-3 minutes or until melted.
- Meanwhile, lightly spray a frying pan with oil and heat on medium-high. Break eggs into pan and cook for 2 minutes or until white is set. Top each slice of bread with an egg. Season.
SERVING SUGGESTION: Coleslaw with no-fat dressing.TIP: Omit ham for a vegetarian meal.
