Hearty steak sandwiches
1 medium, sliced
280 g, (8x35g slices)
Beef, lean, silverside, minute steak, raw
416 g, (buy 8x65g) sizzle steaks
mixed salad leaves
2 large, sliced
2 medium, sliced
- Combine onion and lemon juice in a small bowl, set aside to marinate for 10 minutes.
- Lightly spray a chargrill or barbecue with oil and preheat over high heat. Cook bread for 2 minutes each side or until charred and golden. Cook steaks for 1 minute each side or until just charred.
- Drain onion mixture on paper towel. Top 4 pieces of bread with salad leaves, steaks, cucumber, tomatoes and onion mixture. Top with relish and sandwich with remaining bread to serve.
