Make a double or triple batch of these easy-prep almonds and you’ll always have a snack ready whenever you fancy something savoury.

Ingredients

Olive Oil

½ teaspoon(s)

Almonds

100 g, blanched, whole

Salt

½ teaspoon(s)

Cayenne Pepper

¼ teaspoon(s), level

Paprika

¼ teaspoon(s), level

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a medium, nonstick frying pan set over a medium-high heat. Add the almonds and reduce the heat to medium-low. Cook, shaking the pan occasionally, for 5 minutes or until the almonds are just starting to turn brown.
  2. Transfer the almonds to a serving dish. Sprinkle over the salt, paprika and cayenne pepper, then toss until evenly coated. Serve warm.

Notes

These almonds will keep in an airtight container for up to 1 month.
