This perfectly-balanced oil and vinegar dressing brings ordinary salad leaves to life.

Ingredients

Vinegar, All Types

5 teaspoon(s), cider

Olive Oil

1 tablespoon(s)

Mustard Powder

½ teaspoon(s), level

Garlic

½ clove(s)

Dried Mixed Herbs

¼ teaspoon(s)

Instructions

  1. Put the vinegar, oil, mustard powder, garlic and the dried herbs in a clean jar, along with 1 tablespoon water. Season well, then screw on the lid and shake vigorously until combined.
  2. Serve drizzled over salads.

Notes

The vinaigrette can be kept in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
