The taste of these turkey kebabs is simply terrific! Barbecue them if you can - or grill them indoors.

Ingredients

Turkey breast, skinless, raw

500 g

Low Fat Natural Yogurt

150 g, natural

Curry paste

2 tablespoon(s), (tikka masala)

Lemon Juice, Fresh

1 tablespoon(s)

Cucumber

2 slice(s), chucks - roughly chopped

Tomato

4 medium, roughly chopped

Onion

½ large, (red) thinly sliced

Chilli, green or red

1 individual, (red) deseeded and sliced

Coriander, fresh

2 tablespoon(s), chopped fresh

Salt

1 pinch

Black pepper

1 teaspoon(s)

Instructions

  1. Cut turkey into 2.5 cm (1 inch) chunks. Place in non-metallic bowl. Add yogurt, curry paste and lemon juice. Mix well, then cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, overnight if possible.
  2. Preheat barbecue or grill. Thread turkey onto skewers. Cook, turning often, for 12 - 15 minutes, until thoroughly cooked.
  3. Meanwhile, mix together remaining ingredients to make salad. Season, then serve.
