Calorie controlled cooking spray
½ small, sliced, 4 slices
Extra lean turkey mince, less than 3% fat
500 g, cooked
Light Cheese Slices
4 teaspoons, level
4 leaf/leaves, small
1 large, cut into 8 slices
- Coat a large frying pan with cooking spray. Heat the pan over a medium-high heat. Add the onion slices; and cook for 2-3 minutes per side. Transfer the onion to a plate and cover with plastic wrap.
- Divide the turkey mince into 8 equal portions, shaping each into a ball. Place 4 balls in hot frying pan; using a large spatula, smash each ball into a very flat 4-in circle. Sprinkle salt and pepper and cook for 2-3 minutes, until well browned on the bottom. Turn the burgers over, scraping with a spatula to release from the pan; cook for another 2-3 minutes until cooked through. Repeat with the remaining turkey. Arrange the cheese evenly over each of the 4 burgers, top with the remaining 4 burgers.
- Spread the mustard over the buns, then layer with the lettuce, onion, burgers, and tomato.
