Turkey pesto meatballs

These four-ingredient meatballs are genius. By adding reduced-fat pesto sauce to the turkey mince, you streamline the meatball prep. With one easy ingredient, you get basil, garlic, cheese, and oil. And in addition to great flavour, the pesto makes the meatballs wonderfully juicy, too.

Ingredients

Turkey breast mince, raw

500 g

Egg, whole, raw

1 medium, raw

Breadcrumbs, fresh

20 g

Tesco Reduced Fat Green Pesto

60 g

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C, fan 160°C, gas mark 4. Line a rimmed baking sheet with baking paper.

In a large bowl, gently combine all ingredients and season—do not over mix or meatballs will be tough. Roll into 24 meatballs, place on the prepared pan.

Bake for 20 minutes, until lightly browned and cooked through.
