Ingredients

Tuna in spring water, drained

1 can(s), medium, drained

Red onion(s)

¼ small

Celery, Raw

1 stick(s), finely chopped

Reduced Fat Mayonnaise

1 tablespoons

Calorie Controlled Brown Bread

2 slice(s)

Tomato

½ large, thinly sliced

Lettuce

1 portion(s), baby leaves

Instructions

  1. Place tuna in a mixing bowl and flake with a fork until very fine. Add onions, celery and mayonnaise; mix well then season.
  2. Top a slice of bread with the tuna mixture, tomato slices and lettuce; top with the second slice of bread.

Notes

You can change this basic tuna recipe by stirring in 1 tsp curry powder, 1 tbsp fresh dill or ½ tsp chopped capers.
