They say simple things are the best, and that certainly applies to this wrap with its Italian-inspired filling.

Ingredients

Tortilla wrap

1 medium

Parma Ham

25 g

Lettuce

3 leaf/leaves, small

Tomato

1 large

Light Mozzarella

40 g

Basil, fresh

6 leaf/leaves

Instructions

  1. Heat a dry non stick frying pan. When hot, add the tortilla and warm for a few moments. (This makes it easier to fold.) Remove from the pan, then set to one side. Add the Parma ham to the pan and cook for 2 minutes, turning once, until just crisp.
  2. Put the lettuce, tomato, mozzarella and basil on top of the tortilla. Season with black pepper, then put the warmed Parma ham on top. Fold in the sides and roll up. Slice in half horizontally and chill, wrapped in clingfilm. Bring up to room temperature before eating.
