This overnight-soaked muesli means your breakfast is ready whenever you are! It's nutrient-packed and will keep you going until lunchtime.

Ingredients

Porridge oats

50 g

Rice flaked

50 g

Wheatgerm, Dried

25 g

Sultanas

40 g, or raisins

Dried Mango

25 g, or papaya, dried

Dried Apricots

25 g, ready to eat

Almonds

25 g, chopped

Skimmed Milk

1200 ml

Fat Free Natural Yogurt

8 pot(s), small, or low fat fromage frais, 2 tbsps required

Grapes, Black or White

50 g, seedless

Instructions

  1. Mix together the porridge oats, flaked rice, wheatgerm, sultanas or raisins, mango or papaya, apricots and almonds. Keep in an airtight container and use as below.
  2. To prepare one serving, weigh out 30g of the muesli mixture into a serving bowl. Add 150ml skimmed milk, then cover and refrigerate overnight.
  3. In the morning, serve the portion of muesli with yogurt or fromage frais, topped with the grapes.

Notes

Vary the fresh fruit toppings to suit your taste and the seasons. Try strawberries and raspberries in the summer.
