Toss lean beef strips in a wok with broccoli, oyster mushrooms, fresh egg noodles and a savoury sauce to make this Chinese classic.

Ingredients

Calorie controlled cooking spray

Lean beef stir-fry strips

300 g

Broccoli, raw

200 g, Tenderstem, cut into bite size pieces

Onion

1 large, thinly sliced

Mushrooms

250 g, oyster

Garlic

2 clove(s), thinly sliced

Oyster sauce

100 ml

Egg noodles, fresh

400 g, prepared as instructed

Instructions

  1. Mist a large nonstick wok or frying pan with cooking spray and stir-fry the beef over a medium heat for 2 minutes, then remove from the wok and set aside on a plate.
  2. Mist the wok with more cooking spray, then stir-fry the broccoli, onion and mushrooms for 4-5 minutes. Add the garlic and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  3. Return the beef to the wok along with the oyster sauce, then stir-fry for 1 minute, until combined. Add the noodles and stir-fry for 2 minutes, until heated through.
  4. Divide between bowls and serve.
