Liven up sprouts with this delicious festive twist.

Ingredients

Butter

30 g

Cumin seeds

½ teaspoons, level

Orange(s)

1 medium, zest of

Shallots

100 g, peeled and diced

Brussels Sprouts, Raw

300 g, trimmed and halved

Instructions

  1. Mix the butter, cumin seeds and orange zest with some seasoning, cover and keep chilled until ready to use.
  2. Heat a small wok or sauté pan, add the shallots, sprouts and butter and toss together. Cook for 7–8 minutes over a medium-high heat until the sprouts are just tender with still a little bite. Keep warm and serve as soon as possible.
