If you fancy, you can make your marinade ahead of time and leave the chicken to marinate in the fridge for a few hours.

Onion

1 medium, finely chopped

Garlic

2 clove(s), finely chopped

Chilli, green or red

1 individual, finely chopped

Honey

2 tablespoon(s), level

Tomato ketchup

4 tablespoon(s)

Worcestershire Sauce

4 tablespoon(s)

Wholegrain Mustard

2 teaspoon(s), level

Hot Pepper Sauce (Tabasco)

2 splash(es)

Plain White Flour

1 tablespoon(s), level

Chicken Wing with Skin, cooked

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C, fan 180°C, gas mark 6. Mist a pan with cooking spray and cook the onion,garlic and chilli over medium heat for 6–8 minutes. Stir in the honey, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and Tabasco, and cook for 2–3 minutes. Whizz in a food processor until smooth.
  2. Put the flour into a bowl and season. Add the chicken wings and toss to coat.
  3. Pour the sauce over the wings and mix until fully covered. Put them onto a lined baking tray and cook for 30 minutes until golden and sticky. Garnish with the spring onions and serve with the salad.
