Spiced chickpea salad
1 teaspoon(s), level, black onion seeds
1 teaspoon(s), level
1 teaspoon(s), grated
1 clove(s), crushed
Lime Juice, Fresh
1 can(s), large, drained
⅓ individual, extra large, chopped
1 small, thinly sliced
- For the dressing, whisk together the black onion seeds, cumin seeds, grated ginger, garlic, olive oil and the juice of 1 lime with 1 tablespoon water. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper and set aside.
- Put the chickpeas in a bowl with the spinach, cucumber and red onion. Pour over the dressing and toss to coat, then serve immediately.
